This was a real fun shoot, done as personal work to add to my portfolio. It’s also the first proper BTS (behind the scenes) video I’ve done and I enjoyed it a lot so intend to do more on other shoots.

Great little shoot and produced really well. Google streetview is indeed a great tool to utilise.
The last image at the end of the video is superb, well done.
What video camcorder(s) did you use on the cars?
Sony HVR-A1E was the main camera, then Sony EX 520line bullet cams mounted to the car
Well done! Looked like it was a blast! What software did you edit with? Did you use that flip? -tim
Very fun shoot, yes. It was edited with Final Cut Pro and I shot with the old Flip (not the one I just bought)…that footage is right at the end.
Great short,
Two notes, if you go to an army surplus as get some of their netting (Big thick nylon stuff) you can make a barrier for the back of the car when your shooting out of it, I do it on our jeep.
And a pair of walkietalkies are indespensible for car shoots!
All I have to say is wow! You did an amazing job!
I really like behind the scenes videos like this because they show the process and the amount of time that goes into a shoot. Plus they are a great tool for learning and I feel inspired to try something like this in the future.
Your shots turned out fantastic. You did a good job capturing the essence of the car because in each shot the car just looks menacing while still being perfectly poised. Great job Adam!
