Adam Swords: Teaser // Pit bikes

Last weekend me and some buddies went out riding pit bikes at our local spot, so I took my camera down to see how the bikes looked on film.

I had no video specific equipment with me that I would usually use – no Z-finder or monitor, no tripod, no follow focus or shoulder rig. But I’m pleased with the way the footage has turned out and I’ll be shooting more in the near future with the right gear (I’m currently looking for an RC helicopter pilot who can fly a 5D around…email me if you can help!).

Be sure to let me know your thoughts in the comments below.

  1. Amazing how well this song fits with high-energy action coverage in a natural setting. I picked up on your inspiration from the parkour training vid. I tip my cap. Nice execution of the similar fade-off transitions, except with a nice haze of good old fashioned dirt instead. I liked the opening shots especially.

It would have been nice to see the faces behind the bikes, but as its a teaser, it’s smooth with a solid mix of S-curve motions and the forest lighting is beautiful. Not a bad day out at all!

    Cheers,
    Brittany
